March 19, 2007

SAN FRANCISCO – March 19, 2007 – DecisionView Inc., the leading provider of business performance optimization solutions to the life sciences industry, announced today that the company has signed a multi-year agreement with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to standardize on DecisionView’s StudyManager application for optimizing clinical recruitment performance. StudyManager is the industry’s first performance optimization solution for clinical trials.

“The number one issue impacting overall clinical trial cost is study delays caused by inadequate recruitment performance; specifically, poor recruitment planning, progress monitoring and execution” said Alex Lancksweert, director of Performance Metrics & Benchmarking in GSK’s Clinical Operations organization. GSK will globally deploy StudyManager across all Phase I-IV studies.

DecisionView’s StudyManager 3.2 application is used by clinical teams to optimize clinical recruitment performance in order to reduce recruitment costs and cycle times by automating planning, progress monitoring, predictive modeling and simulation capabilities within the clinical recruitment process.

“Improved visibility to current and predictive information, and enhanced enterprise agility to execute timely course corrections are critical competitive advantages to pharmaceutical companies and their clinical development performance. We look forward to working with GSK,” said Steve Andrade, CEO, DecisionView.
