Tracking enrollment progress is often a time-consuming, manual process that’s out of date 10 minutes after its completed. StudyOptimizer provides real-time tracking and visibility into the enrollment status of your organization’s clinical trials at two levels.

StudyOptimizer automates the aggregation and analysis of enrollment performance data from across your organization on a daily basis, providing a real-time, apples-to-apples view of study progress. Unlike most enrollment tracking processes which only analyze study progress to date, StudyOptimizer uses its industry-proven predictive analytics model to forecast trial enrollment end dates based on actual performance to date. And with StudyOptimizer’s advanced visualization technologies, executives and managers can tell at a glance whether studies are on-track or not.

Track Enrollment Across Your Trial Portfolio

For clinical operations executives, StudyOptimizer displays aggregated study data in a single view so you can quickly get information about enrollment status across your entire portfolio. The Study List provides a summary of all the studies that are available to be viewed, and a specific study can be opened by double-clicking on it. The Runway graph plots the progress of all studies in active enrollment, comparing the percentage of target subjects randomized versus the percentage of enrollment period elapsed.

Detailed Views into Individual Studies to Monitor Progress

Once enrollment is under way, understanding whether a study is “on track” and “on budget” is not a trivial exercise. It often involves manual data entry and spreadsheet analysis, just to understand the current status of the study. Its even harder to figure out whether or not the study is going to end on time in the future. StudyOptimizer provides detailed enrollment information in real time about individual studies. The Study tab displays site initiation, subject screening, and subject randomization progress for the study, as well as enrollment performance projections. Countries and Sites tabs show enrollment statistics of participating countries and sites, including site initiation, screening, randomization and retention performance.
